Circumsolar (aka J.M.Pengelly) enjoys many forms of art, but her main interest
lies in the written word - reading, writing and appreciating its nuances. She runs
the open poetry forum here but is not confined to it. You can find some of her
work in the Library, and is a multi-published poet in her own right having had
material accepted for print in hardcopy zines such as Panhandler and Broken
Ghost
; web-zines such as Subtle Tea; featured at on-line websites such as Bil
Luther's 'This is the way', and various pieces accepted for 4 books including
Cold Eels, The Path Less Travelled, and Epiphanies and Other Absurdities.
In the past 14 months she has had over 30 pieces accepted for publication.

Her favourite poets (apart from those in our library!) are Walt Whitman, Frost,
Byron, Shakespeare and Wordsworth - but that's not to say her tastes don't
cover an extraordinarily wide base. It always comes as a wonderful surprise to
'discover' those contemporary poets of great skill in her search around the web,
and enjoys being able to bring their work even more exposure by displaying
their works at this site. The Library is fast becoming an undertaking to take pride
in, and she can see no end to her search nor desires one, intent on creating a
valuable resource for any reader/writer who wishes to immerse themselves in a
sea of creativity without having to worry about getting a tetanus shot first!
